SOUNDSYNC DEMO IMPORT CSVs

Start with 06-make-your-own-starter.csv for the simplest custom catalog, or
01-custom-product-catalog.csv for a filled example with images, demos and files.

These are fictional examples. Replace every example product and every
example.com URL before importing your real catalog. The example URLs do not
host downloadable files. Open the ZIP first, then choose a CSV inside it.
SoundSync accepts CSV files here, not the ZIP itself.

WHAT EACH FILE SHOWS

01-custom-product-catalog.csv
Three complete example product rows, including prices in USD, product types,
product page URLs, public artwork, public audio demos and private downloads.
Echo Drums has one file. Analog Synth has Windows, Mac and PDF manual files.
Pocket Keys has presets and a PDF guide. Its $5 price intentionally triggers
the warning for paid products below SoundSync's current $9.99 minimum.
Such a product can be saved as a draft with its selling price unset.

02-download-links-single-file.csv
A simple product-name column and one complete ZIP download per product.
Use this AFTER saving drafts, in "Import delivery files from links".

03-download-links-multiple-files.csv
The same product names, with one, two or three files in separate columns.
Leave unused file columns empty. Use this AFTER saving drafts, in
  "Import delivery files from links". This is an alternative to file 02;
do not import both examples for the same products.

04-wordpress-woocommerce-style.csv
A simplified WordPress/WooCommerce core product export layout, including
downloadable product flags and numbered download-name/download-URL columns.
WooCommerce's "Type" describes its product structure, not the SoundSync
instrument/sample-pack category. Select the appropriate SoundSync type in
review. This example has USD prices, but the native layout has no Currency
column. Confirm selected source prices are USD in review only if that is
true for your real export. SoundSync does not convert currency.

05-shopify-style.csv
A simplified Shopify layout using the supported older column names
Handle, Title, Body (HTML), Variant Price and Image Src. An extra image row
shares Analog Synth's handle and leaves Title blank, so it stays one product.
These examples use one default variant per product. Real variant pricing
and options need review; SoundSync does not recreate all variant structures.
  The native product layout has no Currency column. This example uses USD;
confirm USD in review only if your actual source prices are USD.
This catalog does NOT contain private download links or audio-demo links.
Use your own delivery CSV based on 02 or 03 for private files after saving
drafts. Add public demos separately, or use the custom catalog layout.

06-make-your-own-starter.csv
One filled row to replace and copy. Keep the headers, use a unique SKU and
product name per product, and add Download 4 URL or more columns if needed.
Leave unused download columns blank. Add Image URL, Audio Demo or Product URL
columns using the full custom catalog example when useful.

HOW TO USE THE FILES

1. Choose ONE catalog layout: 01, 04, 05 or 06. They are alternatives showing
the same example catalog, not separate catalogs to import together.
2. Edit it in Excel, Google Sheets or a text editor. Replace the sample rows
with your own products. Save as comma-separated CSV in UTF-8. Keep row 1 as
the headers. Prices are decimal amounts such as 29.99, without a $ symbol.
Keep identifiers such as SKUs as text. Avoid repeated or blank headers.
3. In SoundSync, open Import / Upload. Enter your store URL if you have one,
and choose your CSV under Product export. A CSV can be used without a URL.
4. Review column mapping, names, product types, currencies, prices and media.
Save selected products as drafts. Nothing is published automatically.
5. If your catalog CSV already included download columns, review the suggested
delivery links after saving. Otherwise, upload your own version of 02 or 03
under Import delivery files from links. Choose the product-name column and
ONLY the columns containing private file URLs, then review download links.
6. Names are matched to products saved by THIS import. Keep the names identical
across your catalog and delivery CSV. Correct unmatched or ambiguous rows
with the product selector. Check every match, confirm, then import links.
For a product outside this import, use its own Delivery files page.
7. Finish product settings, valid pricing, delivery and licensing before
publishing. Reimporting matches existing products; it is not a way to create
another copy of the same catalog. Existing matches start unselected.

LINKS AND LIMITS

- Product URL: a public product information page. It is not a download URL.
A CSV imports the fields you supply; do not rely on product links alone to
fill every missing field. Add a store URL for website discovery when useful.
- Image URL and Audio Demo: public artwork and demo-audio files. Selected
supported media is copied into SoundSync storage before saving drafts.
- Download URL columns: direct links to private customer-delivery files,
such as ZIP archives, PDF manuals and supported audio/MIDI files. Use one
URL per column per product for the clearest layout. These are not demos.
- Login pages, checkout pages and ordinary sharing pages are not direct file
links. Use accessible, unexpired direct URLs, or upload the files yourself.
- Imported delivery files are copied into private SoundSync storage. Review
every product match before attaching them. Up to 10 GB per delivery file.
- Exports must be under 8 MB. Import at most 200 products in one job; split
larger catalogs into smaller files. Export parsing accepts up to 2,000 rows
for layouts with continuation rows, but that is not a 2,000-product limit.
- Missing fields may remain in drafts for later completion. A blank price
means configure later; 0 means free. Do not use 0 for an unknown price.

PLATFORM REFERENCES

These are SoundSync examples, not official platform exports or templates for
writing back to another store. Your actual platform export may have more
columns. No sample product data was taken from a real developer's catalog.
